This is considered another Penny Hardaway Foamposite hybrid, following the success of the Half Cents. The colorway titled "Luminous", consists of a pearl that glows in the dark, which NIKE is known for doing around Halloween. How many plan on copping tomorrow morning?

No half stepping in November

This month has been quiet in the general release department. I have been patiently waiting on November to arrive. Next month isn't all about the turkey, it's about the release of Nike Rookie LWP Luminous, Air Jordan DB Charity lV, Cannon/Pre Heat Lebrons, and Air Jordan Black Cement lll just to name a few. So much heat back to back, I'm shortening my wife's Xmas list. I'm kidding honey, I'm getting your iPhone 4s.

My Weekend Pick Up

Over the weekend the first general release Lebron 9 hit retailers. Since I don't live in China or Miami, it was my first personal encounter with them. I have to say after putting them on and looking at them in several angles the shoe really popped. Even in the "University of Kentucky" colorway, which wasn't a favorite of mine. I still copped!

NIKE reduces LBJ China

Lebron "China" colorways have always been a favorite choice for sneakerheads. Once images of the 9th edition hit the web, bloggers couldn't wait to comment on the bright blue and orange design. However, it was the price that over shadowed the shoe. With a market value $250, most comments became complaints. But we at NIB are always willing to deliver good news. NIKE announced that the $250 price tag has reduced to $170. I say we all just go to NIKEiD and make "South Beaches!"

A minute ago NBA commissioner David Stern announced that the first two weeks of the 2011-12 NBA season would be cancelled. Furthering concerns for fans hoping to see their favorite players hit the hardwood. What does this mean for sneaker heads and upcoming releases? Besides the retro Jordan release dates, current players are slated to drop their signature sneaker. This October NIKE introduces the Lebron 9 and later the Zoom Kobe 7. Will US sales be effected by players considering to play ball overseas? With NIKE's new price increase will it make sense to purchase a sneaker based on colorways alone? We shall see how the next few months pan out!

Every month me and other members of NIB meet up at a local spot to discuss our company, sneakers, and streetwear. Since we're all designers and huge aficionados (look it up) of streetwear fashion, it was a no brainer that NIB would become a brand amongst a sneaker shop. House of Hoops Sac has arrived!

NIB has covered all of the latest news about the Arden Fair House of Hoops. We are proud to say that as of an hour ago the store went live. There was a decent turn out of local sneakerheads and most knew one another from previous releases. Everyone had their own expectations and the question is: did HoH Sac live up to yours? We came across many exclusives new to our area and with future releases like the DB Charity Jordan IV, sneakerheads will have a better chance at copping heat. Tomorrow is the official event, which begins at 2pm. An in house DJ and Sac Kings players will be in attendance. There are still rumors of Ray Allen XIII's and Miami Nights Lebron VIII's still circulating...

HoH Arden Fair Reminder

NIB has been reporting on the grand opening of Foot Locker's House of Hoops in Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento, CA. Even though we may get over shadowed by Mark S. Allen and Good Day Sacramento, sneakerheads know who was first(LoL). We heard that it's a two day event beginning Friday (tomorrow) through Saturday. There will be an in house Dj, and some giveaways. No word on what exclusives they we have, but expect more heat than before. Once again, this is a major expansion for the Sacramento sneaker culture and it will only get better once we launch the NIB flagship store this coming April. Members of NIB will be in attendance tomorrow for the HoH event. Gaining additional ideas for our grand opening as well. Hope to see you sn'eads there!

House of Hoops - Arden Fair Update



IT'S ALMOST TIME !

If you're a real SneakerHead like us at NIB, then you have already known about the arrival of House of Hoops in Sacramento, Ca. The store which is a exclusive branch of Foot Locker, will be located inside Arden Fair Mall. On the east wing of the 2nd floor. If you haven't had the luxury of visiting a House of Hoops, then allow us to explain how important this is to the sneaker culture in Sac.

Instead of trips to Daily City, Ca. we'll now have a chance at BIN & DB Charity Jordan series as well as P.E. HyperDunks, Kobe's, Lebron's and other "on-court" series kicks. Ohh yeah and we can't forget Foamposites right in our backyard. This will allow collectors in our area the opportunity to purchase the heat we once traveled so far for. If you're as excited as we are we'll see you there!

A Closer Look: Air Jordan XIV "Graphites"

With the fall season under way Brand Jordan is releasing darker versions from it's signature line. Here we have the Air Jordan XIV in graphite nubuck, black midsole, and white outsoles. There are also hints of navy accents. It's a new lifestyle color of the re-released retro. Be sure to pick these up Saturday, October 8th.

Yesterday a local Sneakerhead dropped off some heat that he wanted to consign with NIB. I took a sneak peek and this guy has got some major heat. Of course we can't display them until April, when both the online and physical store open. However, I did take some detailed pics of the boxes they came in.
